Deus Ex Machinaのメインビジュアルに起用されるなど、グローバルに活躍する若干二十歳の新鋭フォトグラファーWoody Gooch ウディ・グーチの写真展を開催します。
オーストラリア ヌーサ出身、幼少期より大自然の中でサーフィンやスキーなどをライフスタイルの一部として過ごし、
有意義な経験と多くの失敗を経て、若くして独自のスタイルを築き上げる。
本展ではサーフラインから少し離れ、幾何学的に見える海の表情や、無数の線の集合体に思える波のスケールなど抽象的に表現されている作品がセレクトされている。
また同展にてフランス人アーティスト/K-NARFとのコラボレーション作品も展示される。
ウディのアートに対する想いと奥深さを知ることになるだろう。

寒くて暗い海でも、眩しい雪山でも、日に照らされた街路であっても、
ウッディ・グーチはカメラを手に悠々と歩を進めていく。
彼はオーストラリアのサンシャイン・コーストにある小さな浜辺の町出身で、現在は日本の東京都心を拠点に活動している。
ウッディの写真撮影は慎ましくスケートボードから始まり、そこで父親のカメラを使って彼は一瞬を写すことへの愛を学んだ。
そこから新たに彼の情熱は海へと向かい、彼の写す世界観は徐々に人々に受け入れ始められるようになった。
現在、弱冠20歳にしてウッディは即座に10代の趣味をライフスタイルにしてしまったのである。
更なる興味と取り組みによって、ウッディは独自のスタイルを生み出し、今では私たちの大半が気づけない人生における特別な「狭間の」瞬間をとらえることで広く知られている。
珍しいものや未発見のものに対する観察力に加え、彼が生来持つ瞬間をとらえることへの愛が彼に世界中の扉が開いたのだ。

Whether in cold dark oceans, on bright white mountains or rolling through sun-
baked city streets, Woody Gooch moves at ease through his surroundings with
camera in hand.
Originally from a small coastal town on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, he is
now based out of the central district of Tokyo, Japan, where he relocated after
exhibiting his first solo body of work in Harajuku, last year.
Woody’s humble beginnings in photography started with skateboarding, where
with his father’s camera he learnt a love for freezing moments in time. From
there the new passion took to the ocean where his photography began to allow
people to see the world and it’s moods through his eyes.
Now, at just twenty years of age Woody has swiftly turned a teenage hobby into a
way of life.
Thanks to expanded interests and endeavors, Woody has created his own
distinctive style and is now widely known for capturing life’s special ‘in-between’
moments that many of us fail to notice.
Along with his eye for the unusual and unexplored, his innate love for capturing
motion has opened doors for him around the world. Woody has immersed
himself in a life of travel and photography and is excited at the prospect of
